It provides a fun, bumpy ride through the scenic views of the village houses, rice fields and local communities. If you prefer, you can choose to walk to a nearby mud house instead. Enjoy this unique view of rural life.
Hiriwadunna Model Village Tour
  • Step into a traditional village life with the Hiriwadunna Model Village Tour. The rural beauty of paddy fields, lakes, and forests will leave you feeling refreshed, and the welcoming villagers will make you feel right at home.
Visit Fresh Fruits & Vegetable Farm
  • Nilagama Farm spans 30 acres and provides high-quality fruits and vegetables for the local community and international markets. With 30 to 50 local workers, the farm grows a variety of crops, including papaya, passion fruit, custard apple, soursop, mango, onions, chili, tomatoes, capsicum, cabbage, and drumsticks, depending on the season. This is a great opportunity to engage with farmers, observe their daily activities, and spend time in a vibrant agricultural setting.
Cooking Demonstration
  • You can enjoy a simple traditional meal prepared by a village woman using the Farmer’s hand-picked vegetables from the plot. If time permits, you can also see how a village woman cooks a traditional meal or a roti. Following the rather leisurely snack, you are free to explore the village at your leisure.
Organic Lunch Buffet
  • Sri Lankan farmers have lunch at the Sri Lankan traditional mud house. Refresh yourself and enjoy your lunch at a traditional mud house.

  • Five Organic vegetables ( Curry/ Fried or Salad ).
